Pianos are my passion. Since 1975 I have been tuning and restoring pianos in Sacramento and neighboring areas. I started my apprenticeship with two Sacramento piano dealers before establishing my own company. Since that time I’ve worked for concerts and events, like Music Circus, and acclaimed artists such as Santana, Ricky Nelson, George Benson, BB King, Bill Graham Presents, and Liberace. After years of fine-tuning my craft I continue to offer my services for households, event centers, and institutions.

The quality of a tuning is based on your piano’s age, condition, and environment. Ideally a piano should be tuned every six months. With each tuning visit we also provide an inspection and make recommendations for optimizing your piano.
If your keys seem sluggish or other components start to wear you need more than a tuning. Regulation makes adjustments compensating for changes caused by age, heat, and humidity. Through voicing we modify the pianos sound to make it brighter, louder or more mellow; whatever your taste or style.
We can fix any broken original parts or special order replacements. Many repairs such as broken strings and hammers can be done on-site, as well as exterior dents, veneer and scratch repairs.
